“we are alive….or are we?”

confronts death fearlessly to, in contrast, symbolize a deep love for life and humanity…. if I’m alive why don’t i feel like i’m living?…. i go through the motions every day but i am not living, i save for the future i may not see, and i’ve always loved high adrenaline adventures because they remind me that i’m alive.

if we live to feel alive, death is not a thing to fear but inevitable. i’d rather 40 years of feeling alive than 80 years of feeling like i am already dead. we never know when our last day will be.

this work is about making every day a day you would be okay with if it was your last…. because it might be. it’s not about having no bad days—we’re always gonna have bad, worse, better, good, and best days. but just that every day needs to have something about it where we think just before we leave, “if that was my last, i’m okay with this.”

so with that said, you’re alive…. or are you?
