I’m a dreamer; I explode with ideas, think deeply, weirdly, and stand so far outside the box I don’t know what box we’re talking about.
But I never forget the simple things + the details.
My background as a designer started with a communications team, finding myself often designing short [visual] books and magazines. I did a little bit of that for fun on my own prior to starting my career, too. This was always fun, but never felt complete.
Eventually, I started practicing my visual art [mixed media] and creative writing skills a lot more and found these to possibly be the missing pieces.
Today, I like to bring my design skills to my art when I can, and maybe my art into my design projects if they fit, and through it all, I will usually find a place or picture to place my words.
