“we are alive….or are we?”

this piece symbolizes a deep love for life and humanity by exploring thoughts of death…. if I’m alive why don’t i feel like it?…. i go through the motions every day, i save for a future i may not see, and i long for high adrenaline adventures that remind me i’m alive. if we live to feel alive, death is not a thing to fear but inevitable. i’d rather two more years of feeling alive than 50 more years of feeling like i am already dead. we never know when our last day will be.

this work is about making every day a day you would be okay with if it was your last…. because it might be. it’s not about having no bad days—we’re always gonna have bad, worse, better, good, and best days—it’s about being satisfied with any day just in case it ends up being our last.
