…The past week in California was primarily something my heart wanted and thats why the week was what it was and when I left it all hit me.

The heart aways knows—we just need to let the rest of our being shut up to listen which is, I think, one of the hardest things to do. Nobody ever seems to think it’s important compared to the more pragmatic things. It may be beating but I think passion has long been dead for a lot of people and you can tell by looking around; very few people light up about anything.

I think when we put our hearts first, everything else falls into place. So as Needtobreathe once said on their Rivers in the Wasteland album… “long live the heart.”
