The People Behind The Places is a 46 page travel e-book written by Winnie Stubbs featuring a short article and photographs about three unique creative spaces in Sri Lanka.
It was designed and launched for Nouvelle Vague Surf, an online indie surf and lifestyle magazine.
Photos were supplied and credited throughout the book where needed. This work was done on a volunteer basis.

“I wrote most of this just before the fabric of our worlds changed forever, when travel was (for the privileged few) possible and even expected. Although reading back through makes me ache with nostalgia for what was, it also reminds me of how fortunate we are to have experienced this connected, creative world.
While the world is in a relative lockdown and trips to Sri Lanka are a distant dream, there’s magic in knowing that these special spaces are waiting.”
