love notes: a collection of words that make life worth living.
“UNCOOL”
ACRYLIC ink ON paper
8×8IN
winter 2025
i suppose it started with this unedited rambling story i wrote one night:
“we do a lot but most things are just filling in the blanks of our lives and don’t tell us who we want to be. the moments of total uncoolness are where it’s at. these moments of sloppy joy and big enthusiasm are filled with belly laughs and things far too real to put on pretty social media feeds; these are the moments we remember for years. these uncool parts of our story tell us who we are meant to be and what our life should really look like. Fuck being “cool” when the uncool parts are actually what matters most.”

think less + never ever worry about it looking cool, perfect, or trendy. just make what’s real and true me; be seen.
eventually, away my unusual spirit child went, dreaming big, loving too much, and being whimsical.

about connecting through a shared love of something, creating an unbreakable bond. inspired by all the people i’ve met through the music i love.
“we laugh til we can’t breathe we sing too loud & probably out of tune but we don’t care we dance too late on tired feet every stranger in the room is a stranger no more & these are the good ‘ol uncool days we share & the times we will talk about forever & these days are what we need in this world that is far too serious & way too cool for silly & soft souls like us & so together we say, ‘f*** being cool.’”
